The 4th East Grinstead Scout Troop are asking for help to raise funds for their annual Summer Camp in Yorkshire. This camp dates back over 90 years, where troops from all over the UK attend to meet and engage n a traditional greenfield style camping event. This is truly a magical experience where our young people get to meet others, complete a vast array of badges they may not be able to achieve otherwise and take part of adventurous activities.

As a charity of volunteers, we rely solely on subscription fees from members and kind charity donations to fund ourselves. Since COVID our accounts have struggled and we are now looking to fundraise online to hopefully make this event as accessible as possible for our Scouts! We are looking to raise funds in order to transport both our young people and equipment up to Yorkshire and equally to reduce the costs for food and activities too. This experience is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our Scouts, where they can learn skills for life, network with other UK Scouts and develop key qualities to help them give them the best advantage in their futures.
