Every $1 = 3 meals for those in need
Since 2016, the Park Cities Fourth of July Parade, along with matching partners, have raised over 1.2 million meals to benefit our neighbors in need. We are 300,000 meals away from reaching our overall goal of providing access to 1.5 million meals through the North Texas Food Bank.
Texas ranks as the second-highest level of food insecurity in the nation
Hunger impacts a person's ability to work and a child's ability to learn. In North Texas, 640,000 people face hunger, including 1 in 8 children. The North Texas Food Bank is currently distributing around 400,000 nutritious meals each day to our neighbors facing hunger, and the need is as great as ever.
