St Ann's Hospice is a charity which cares for thousands of local people with cancer and non-cancer life-limiting illnesses every year.

Story

Jade Mclaren, our lovely daughter, Mum, sister, niece and friend passed away on the 20th July 2023. She fought so incredibly hard after being diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma brain tumour in March 2022 at the age of 32.

Jade loved Everest, having watched every possible documentary about it and whilst we can't climb Mount Everest we can climb the National 3 Peaks for our girl.

On the 8th September 2023 a group of Jade's family and friends will be taking on the National 3 Peaks challenge, climbing Ben Nevis, Scarfell Pike and Snowdon. 23 miles with a total ascent of 3,064 metres, aiming to complete all 3 mountains in 24 hours.

We would love to try and raise as much money as possible and give something back to St Ann's Hospice for the wonderful care Jade received in the 3 months she was there.

Your amazing support enables St Ann’s Hospice to provide care to people and their families living with a life-limiting illness in the Greater Manchester community. We provide a range of free services to patients, carers and their loved ones from three sites as well supporting patients in their own homes. Join Team St. Ann’s today to ensure we’re always there – wherever and whenever we’re needed.
