Story
From April 1st to May 8th, 2024, the Blue Stream team is embarking on an ambitious journey, collectively covering 3,850 miles to support The Air Ambulance Service.
With a goal of 101 miles on average per day, our team of 26 participants is determined to make a difference.
The Air Ambulance Service plays a critical role in providing emergency medical care across a vast 3,850 squared mile area, including Warwickshire, Northamptonshire, Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, and beyond. They operate essential local air ambulance services as well as the national paediatric and neonatal transfer service, the Children’s Air Ambulance, serving communities across the UK.
Despite the crucial services they provide, The Air Ambulance Service receives no government funding for its daily operations. They rely solely on the generosity of individuals, communities, and businesses to keep their helicopters in the air and save lives.
Your support, no matter how small, can make a significant impact and help ensure that The Air Ambulance Service can continue its life-saving missions.
