I am raising funds for the Portree and Bracadale Free Church of Scotland new building fund.

This vital community facility in the heart of Portree will serve as home to our congregation and a wide array of community groups. The building is well on its way to completion but a funding shortfall caused by increases in material prices post-covid means more needs to be done to meet our target and that is why I have created the 3:16 challenge.

So on Wednesday 16th August I will set off from Somerled Square in Portree and will run one mile on the hour EVERY hour for 3.16 days. With only 30-40 minutes of sleep overnight between each mile this will be my toughest test yet and I very much hope that some members of the local community will come along to run a mile with me and enjoy some fellowship at the same time.

I am really grateful for any support that can be offered no matter how small as every single penny counts towards the completion of this much needed community facility.
