Our friend Tracey is currently having treatment for breast cancer. We are all part of the local running community and wanted to show solidarity with Tracey by committing to do something difficult because she HAS to do something difficult. We have a choice, whereas she does not, so we want our choice to make a little bit of difference.

So from 26th August for 28 straight days, Running Buddies and Team Balancise will be treating ourselves to some lovely little hill reps or stair climbs. 30 mins a day. 28 days. Even our wounded are going to walk it. Any competitive element is purely friendly! ;-)

Tracey has chosen Breast Friends Northamptonshire to benefit from our efforts because they have helped and supported her through her treatment and continue to do so.

Breast Friends provide practical and emotional support to those fighting cancer. Tracey herself has found their help invaluable. We would very much like to help Breast Friends fund some more of their excellent work for others who are dealing with Breast Cancer.
