Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit the RAF Honington 24hr Swimathon JustGiving page.

From 1000 on 13 Jun 24, until 1000 on 14 Jun 24, RAF Honington will be hosting a 24hr Swimathon to raise money for RAFA.

This fundraising event is open to all personnel (Service personnel, civil servants and families) to sign up and swim as many (or as few) lengths as they would like. You can sign up for 30 minute time slots throughout the 24hr period by following this link but it is only accessible through MODnet:

REGISTER FOR A SWIM HERE

A minimum donation of £3pp is suggested for all those registering to swim and all money donated on this page goes directly to RAFA.

There will also be a team of 6 personnel from RAF Honington swimming a relay throughout the 24hrs so if you do not want to swim yourself, then please donate to support their challenge.

Please do not donate anonymously as everyone that donates will be entered into a raffle that will be drawn in the last hour of the event (0900-1000 on 14 Jun 24). The top prize will be a Spitfire AB910 Cufflink set made from 100% aircraft grade aluminium recovered from Spitfire AB910 (BBMF).

On the day, there will also be a cake stall and RAFA merchandise available, so please bring some cash with you.
