Story
I was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Tumors in January 2019, this turned my world upside down from locking myself away and shutting down from the people who cared about me most ( my partner & 4 children aged between 4 and 12), i didnt know how to tell my kids how unwell i was, my 2 eldest children now know thanks to the help from macmillan helping prepare myself for telling me how to prepare them.
Also a Friend/Landlord of the Little Oak Pub Chester, Chris Ware was also Diagnosed with Kidney Cancer in 2022 and thanks to Macmillan they have been able to support him and his Wife thru there very difficult time of 2022. so myself and friends have decided to link up with Chris and his wife to do a 24hr Darts Marathon in his pub in August 2023 so we are hoping to raise as much money as possible.
we are aiming for £1000 but anything else is a bonus so any donation big or small will help many families out not just mine and Chris but we all know someone who has been effected by this disease and all wish for a cure so lets help get one together.
I'm Hoping to stream the whole event on Twitch and hoping that many people will join in and support and keep myself and everyone else going thru the evening.
Each donation we receive will help us to continue supporting the Neuroendocrine Cancer community and will help us towards our vision of a world in which people know how to recognise, diagnose, treat, care for and ultimately cure patients with a Neuroendocrine Cancer.
