Story

As a group of local Newbury tennis players, we are pulling together to form a team to take part in a 24 Hour Tennis challenge at this years New Life SPORTathon at David Lloyd Newbury.

We will start our challenge on Saturday 13th May at 12:00 and finish on Sunday 14th at 12:00! Our team will play 24 matches in 24 hours... please drop by and cheer us on if you can and join in with the other fun aspects of the event... staying open for 24 hours too!

Our team are raising for New Life Special Care Babies who provide essential equipment to local special care baby units. We would be so grateful if you could donate to this fantastic charity whilst spurring us on through 24 hours of tennis matches!!

Thank you!

About the charity

New Life is a registered charity that is dedicated to raising money for special care baby units across the UK. The Charity was launched by Trevor Goodall in 1995 in memory of his sons who were born 3 months premature. Sadly they both died after a week but their struggle inspired Trevor to make a difference. In 2021 the Charity reached the amazing £1Million in donations which has helped so many sick and premature babies and their families.
