Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. We are a group of 5 Abertay University students who were tasked with organising and running a fundraising event for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation, and we have decided to do a 24 hour cycle in the University gym.

My Name'5 Doddie Foundation was set up in 2017 by Scottish rugby player Doddie Weir following his diagnosis with Motor Neuron Disease (MND). The charity aims to raise money to have a world which is free of MND. This is done through grant funding and significant donations to MND Association and MND Scotland to administer to individuals and families living with MND.

Our 24 hour cycle will begin at 12:00PM on Saturday 22nd April 2023 and will end 12:00PM on Sunday 23rd April 2023. The cycle will be held in the gym of Abertay University, Bell St, Dundee DD1 1HG. There will be a number of different participants each taking a block of time they desire to help us complete the 24 hours.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

We would really appreciate any donation of any amount to support the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation!
