We are trying to raise money to help build classrooms for Kenyan children who currently study in dangerous, overcrowded and insufficient mud-huts that limit their opportunities for education. In July 2023, we, along with other members of my school, will be travelling to Kenya for 2 weeks to attempt to carry out the building of 3 brand new classrooms. Kenyan communities cannot afford to spend money on the building of safe infrastructures and instead have to settle for mud-huts that collapse every few years. Our aim, along with others at my school, is to go to Kenya to create safe, brick-built classrooms for the benefit of the Kenyan children and their futures. The money we are raising will go towards buying the resources needed to build these classrooms.
