24 hour Power Sports · 9 August 2024

We help seriously & terminally ill children to live life to the full.

Story

This event is a continuous game of Powersports, Power Hockey and Power Football, (wheelchair hockey and football). To raise money for the Claire House Children’s Hospice, GB Power Hockey Association and Greenbank Sports Academy!

We want to raise money for these three amazing charities as they massively enhance disabled people’s lives. The GB Power Hockey Association is the governing body of Power Hockey, they organise competitions, develop the sport and ultimately improve disabled people's lives through sport.

Claire House Children’s Hospice is a lifeline for disabled children, young people and their families, their main purpose is hospice care, but they do so much more than that. They provide social groups for disabled people, crucial physio and vital respite care for their service users and their families.

Greenbank Sports Academy, is a collage and sports centre predominantly for disabled people. They educate people while also providing opportunities for people to play at the highest level of sport! Thus they are a leading light for disability sport within the UK.

All these three phenomenal charities, are crucial for inclusivity, helping people stay healthy and active while also providing social opportunities for them, without these charities life would be much more difficult.

So please support us and a massive thank you when you donate!

** Anything raised through this Just Giving page will be split between the three charities listed above.
