Story
On 1st July, we're taking on a 24-hour, fundraising challenge like no other.
We're walking the 7-mile stretch of Bournemouth and Poole beaches for 24-hours non-stop!
We'll be contending with no sleep, meals on the go, blisters, sunburn, heat waves or thunderstorms (you never know!)
Joining us for the full 24 hours will be Nathan Redwood, Emilio Crespi, Connor Oliver and James Crana.
Why are we doing this?
The challenge will be in aid of Diverse Abilities, a charity that provides 24-hour support for people living with disabilities. The charity supports people who have life-limiting and life-long disabilities as well as complex medical needs. Diverse Abilities is there for families in need every hour of the day. The least I can do is take on this epic challenge to raise vital funds to keep their amazing services going.
Without these services, people with disabilities and their families would have very little help in coping with the challenges they face.
Funds raised could go towards medical supplies for use by the charities Nursing team, costs to staff qualified support workers, specialist equipment to make life better, life-enriching activities to ensure the extraordinary people supported live their best lives.
Please support us and Diverse Abilities and raise vital funds by sponsoring this 24-hour beach walking challenge.
Thank you.
