Story
On 21st September a foolhardy crew from Knight Frank and an GB Olympic gold medalist plan to take on the 24 Peak Challenge in the Lake District raising money for the My Name’5 Doddie charity - https://www.myname5doddie.co.uk/ We need your help.
This charity does amazing work to raise awareness and funds for the terrible and heart-breaking motor neurone disease (MND). This is a charity that is close to all of our hearts and whilst there is currently no cure or meaningful treatment there are many inspirational people working tirelessly to change this.
Funding is tight but it is an incredibly important cause – hence the challenge to us all - we’d like your help so please do support us on this journey.
The challenge:
The 24 Peaks Challenge in the Lake District is one of the most demanding mountain walking challenges in the UK – which makes completing it in aid of My Name’5 Doddie all the more rewarding.
In 24 hours we will be scaling a colossal 24 peaks, a total trip of 33 miles (53 km) - all of the peaks are in excess of 2,400 feet (700m) and this equates to a terrifying 14,000ft (4,284m) of uphill battle. As a team we have limited mountaineering and trekking experience as well as a variety of ages and fitness levels - this is really going to push us a long way from our alleged suited, city-slicker lifestyles.
The team:
Roly Ingleby-MacKenzie, Andrew Groocock, Stuart Bailey, Alastair Nicholson, David Mumby, Christian Lock-Necrews, Alex Robinson, and James Guy
The good news for Team KF is we do have James Guy joining us. One of Team GB’s greatest-ever swimmers, winning multiple gold medals, and holding world records. He will be an integral part of the team becoming the chief motivational speaker and team mascot! Let's hope he can perform out of the water….

Any support you can give this richly deserving cause would be greatly appreciated and will help us bound over those peaks.
We are aiming to raise in excess of £20,000 for My Name’5 Doddie and would love your help in achieving this.
