Event: 21st Aberdeen Beavers Sponsored Hike, 05 & 07 June 2023. Mon and Wed groups for Somebody Cares Scotland
The cost-of-living crisis has already had a devastating effect on a huge number of people in the Northeast. As prices continue to rise, we are horrified to already be hearing of many cases where people cant afford to eat or heat their homes.

Story

As part of the Beavers Global Issues and My World badges, we decided we would like to do something to help those in need in our local area.

We are doing a 2 hour hike to raise money for Somebody Cares Aberdeen.

Please give generously to the Beavers - 2 hours is a long time for little legs (they are age 6 to 8).

About the charity

Somebody Cares is committed to its social responsibility of providing free instant access to those in Aberdeen and surrounding communities to the basic comforts - such as food, furniture and clothing – even when they cannot afford them or be in a position to pay anything for them.
