Story

This May, I plan to run a half marathon on an elliptical (cross trainer) in aid of dementia research.

My father and both grandmothers struggle with dementia symptoms so this is a charity close to my heart. The more we learn about this, the better support we can provide people in the future along with suitable care for those living with it now.

I’ve never been able to run far, only managed 10km during lockdown, but my orthopaedics have got worse since then limiting my ability to run outdoor. I’m now in training to reach a half marathon but with the low impact cross training elliptical to reduce the strain on my knees and joints.
