As a local independent shop that has been part of the community in the city of Toronto for almost 50 years, this Pride month Over The Rainbow will be proudly supporting The 519 by raising awareness for the programs and services they provide for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Donations can be made by scanning the QR codes seen on our display window. All donations to The 519 will benefit the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

About The 519

Founded in 1975, The 519 is Canada’s most prominent LGBTQ2S community centre and service-provider. The 519 serves marginalized LGBTQ2S communities such as Black, Indigenous and People of Colour and their families, 50+ and elderly, refugees and newcomers, those living with a disability, homeless and street involved, and the Downtown East neighbourhood.
