Story
On the 29th May at Rother Valley Country Park i'll be attempting to run 200 miles for Alfie.
After seeing one of Chris, Alfie Dads posts with Alfie and this incredible smile it hit me straight in the heart.
This little warrior gets up and fights every day without any thought or self pity not knowing any different with a smile on his face and just being happy to be alive, we can all to learn from this.
Stories like this humble me and ground me, reminding me just how precious life is, how grateful we should be and how much so many of us take for granted, especially having a young son myself.
I instantly wanted to do something to support Chris and his family and alongside Alfie and show the world just how strong we can be and how much fight we have inside of us when fighting and being strong is our only option.
Together I hope we not only raise thousands for Footprints which will help so many people but also inspire as many people as possible to keep fighting no matter how tough it gets, just like Alfie does
All my strength and resilience will be drawn from Alfie, he will be in my thoughts the whole time along with my Mum, Jason, Lacey and John.
I will keep fighting every day through this challenge and the day with smile just like Alfie does through his illness, he is a real hero.
