Story

We're raising money for the British Heart Foundation by undertaking a 26 hour alphabet challenge... that's 26 activities in 26 hours, all beginning with a different letter of the alphabet!

We’ve chosen the British Heart Foundation this year in memory of Jane Taylor who passed away recently. As well as being our Secretary Tim’s mum, mother-in-law to our Squirrels leader, Nutkin (Liz) and Granny to Sophie (in Scouts) and Charlotte (in Explorers), Jane (aka Brown Bear) was responsible for setting up the Beaver unit at 1st Bramhall back in 1984. Having suffered with heart issues for much of her life, the BHF was a cause which Jane strongly supported and it therefore seemed the right choice for this event.
