Running 1 Mile Per Point in a Welsh loss

Running 1 Mile Per Point in a Welsh Loss
After a 12-game Welsh loosing streak and a colder, wetter winter than usual, both my rugby excitement, and desire to go running were at an all-time low.
So. Over Christmas I set myself a challenge.
Run 1 mile for every point of difference in a Welsh loss at the Six Nations 🏃
If Wales lost by 3, I'd be running 3 miles (5km). If Wales lost by 13, Id' be running a half-marathon. If they lost by 26...it'd be the full marathon...
And any more, and I'd be running an ultra marathon!
Pretty simple really!
Any donation you can give is much much appreciated.
It's not required at all - but if you're reading these words, you've probably watched or seen something about one of the long runs I've had to do as part of this adventure - if you've enjoyed watching me suffer, consider donating to help reduce suffering elsewhere!
Looseheadz are *the* rugby charity - and I'm proud to be supporting them for this.
Running is my therapy. When my mind won't be quiet, when my mood has dropped - I try to go outside, and explore some trails or pound some miles. My mind is always better when I can go and run.
1 in 4 people in the UK experience a mental health issue each year, playing sports such as rugby has been shown to help mental wellbeing. Suicide is the biggest killer of under 35s in many developed nations.
Looseheadz are doing what they can to reduce and help by providing staff with training, ensuring coaches are role models, and helping us talk openly about mental health and encourage people to listen to anyone who may be struggling.
Ultimately this is a very silly challenge. And if I can do some good with it, then it's a win for me!
Donate if you can, and I'll be running for each point, cheering every single turnover and try from Wales that reduces the miles I have to run!
