Story
On a Saturday morning, nine of the staff from YHA Whitby will make the most of the glorious, iconic, scenery made famous by Bram Stoker's Dracula, Queen Victoria's pennant for Jet jewellery and Yorkshire's love of ruined Abbeys, by attempting to scale Whitby's famous 199 Steps, 99 times within the hour, in the hopes of raising at least a £1 each time.
199 steps, for £1, 99 times.
That's a collective total of 39,402 steps, 792 storeys, and 18 ruined trainers.
It's going to be grueling but we believe in ourselves and the cause!
