We raise funds for Burns Survivors to support their rehabilitation needs

Story

Running for a Cause: 9 Parachute Squadron RE Takes on the London Landmarks Half Marathon

Next year, six current and former members of 9 Parachute Squadron, Royal Engineers will lace up their running shoes to tackle the London Landmarks Half Marathon. This iconic race, which takes runners past some of London’s most historic and recognisable landmarks, is about far more than completing 13.1 miles. It’s an opportunity for us to come together as a team and support a cause close to our hearts—the Katie Piper Foundation.

The Katie Piper Foundation is dedicated to transforming the lives of adults recovering from life-changing burns and scars. The charity provides essential support, helping survivors regain their confidence, independence, and joy after enduring unimaginable challenges. For us, this mission resonates deeply. As soldiers, past and present, we understand resilience and overcoming adversity—and we’re honoured to support an organisation that exemplifies these values.
