Join RSPCA Team Animal for the Cambridge Half Marathon on Sunday 9 March 2025, and help raise money to rescue, rehabilitate, rehome and release animals across England and Wales.

Story

In 2025 I will be running the Cambridge half marathon for the RSPCA. Having rescued a dog myself I know how important all animal charities are in helping protect and save our animals.

Some info about RSPCA:

For 200 years (and counting) the RSPCA has been here to rescue animals from cruelty and neglect and to speak up for millions more, to change laws, industries, attitudes and behaviour.

We believe that a world that’s better for animals is better for us all, and that every kind of person can make a difference.

It costs the RSPCA £140 million pounds a year to run and as a registered charity (with no shareholders) all money is put back into the day-to-day costs.

We spent more than £48 million on our hospitals and animal centres.

We spend more than £43 million on our inspectorate - which rescues animals from neglect and cruelty and investigates animal welfare offences.

We supported RSPCA branches (who are separately registered charities) with more than £19.1 million from central funds.

With you by our side, we’ll help even more animals.

Thank you!
