Staintondale Tractor Club are running their first ever event…

The Summer Tractor Run!!! 🚜🚜🚜

The route will take tractors of all ages, makes and models, on a 20 mile round trip from Staintondale to Scarborough and back.

As many of those taking part live and work within the agricultural industry, we thought it was fitting that some of the money raised would support a charity which is there specifically for the farming community.

Accidents happen and “Yellow Wellies” are there to support farms, farmers and their families who are suffering with the impact accidents can have on their business’ and their lives.

Unfortunately, the nature of farming can often mean that farmers are working long, lonely hours in an unpredictable industry. Everyone needs support sometimes and Yellow Wellies also recognise the need for mental health support and advice for those struggling.

This is a huge step…getting anyone (especially roughty toughty farmers) to admit that they are not ok and give them the help they need is something that must be embraced and supported and Staintondale Tractor Club certainly want to ensure that this service is going to be available to generations of farmers to come.
