Hi! I'm Tom and I like to run! This year I am running the 2024 Royal Parks Half Marathon for the Somerville Heart Foundation on the 13th October!

Somerville Heart Foundation is the only UK-wide charity supporting adults and young people as they transfer to adult services, with all forms of Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD). The charity helps to broaden access to the support and medical care these people need to lead happier and healthier lives. Somerville Heart Foundation has established a growing community and a network of professionals to create a service that directly connects those born with a heart condition to the guidance they need.

As a relative of a trustee of the foundation, I was thrilled to have been invited to run for the charity this year. Running is an incredibly accessible form of exercise benefiting cardiovascular, physical, and mental health. I use the sport not only for fitness, but also as an outlet for life's stresses, and I encourage anyone looking to start running for their own heart health and well-being.

I aim to raise over £300 for SHF and every donation will help the foundation to maximise it's reach across the UK!
