Cauvery Calling is a visionary project to revitalise one of South Indias largest rivers. It is unique in its structure as a primarily economic programme with a significant ecological impact.

As trees around Cauvery have disappeared, soil has been eroded and Cauvery has suffered a 40% depletion. There have been 47,190 farmer suicides across the region in 15 years. You can make a difference.

The simplest way to make Cauvery flow again is to plant trees. Cauvery Calling will support farmers to plant 2.4 billion trees in the Cauvery basin by adopting agroforestry.
