Bear bile farming must be eradicated.

Black Asian Bears (Moon Bears) are the bears mostly used for live extractions of bile. In order to access the bile easily, the bears are kept in horrifically small cages, and some are even mutilated to keeps claws and teeth from being used as defense during the painful bile extractions.

The average life span of a Moon Bear is 25-30 years. Most bears spend their entire lives since being captured as cubs in a dark concrete structure that houses cages the same size as your closet. Imagine... all the things you have done and experienced in the past 20 years... imagine... that bear has existed in a space so small they cannot take even a few steps. Imagine all the milestones your child went through during 20 years, from birth to school to perhaps marriage or a career.... imagine, that bear was in a dark space without sun or wind, unable to even walk two meters. Imagine.

Please help end this cruelty. I am making bags in my spare room at home in Spain, in order to turn a potential £20 donation into a £40 or £50 donation - for every bag I sell, I keep only the material costs so I can afford to make more bags - anything over the costs is being donated to Animals Asia to support their continued stellar efforts at rescuing these bears and ending bile farming forever through their campaign of education and presentation of alternative medications to bile.
