As part of my celebrations of turning 50 (I am still unsure how this has happened!!) I have decided to also do something good to help others so in a moment of madness I am taking on MTW Hospitals Charity Abseil on Saturday 15 June to raise funds for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust.

I will be descending 100ft down Tunbridge Wells Hospital and to say I am absolutely terrified as I am no longer 15!! but with your kind donations I know that I will be making a difference to the lives of patients, visitors and also staff.

I appreciate how tough things are for everyone at the moment but every pound donated to this challenge will be used by the Charity to purchase specialist equipment and support patient support groups as well as well-being initiatives for staff.

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to you all and am very grateful for any support in this challenge that you are able to provide.
