Story
As most of you know last March I was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour. Since my diagnosis I have found there are so few treatments available for this awful disease, research is so underfunded and I would love to do something to help raise funds for more research and hopefully a cure so people like me get to live to see our kids grow up and have a fighting chance of beating it. Currently it’s a very bleak situation with very little hope, although against the odds I am doing very well at the moment.
C’mon guys we can change this!
Wear A Hat Day is an annual event that brings hope to brain tumour patients and their families. It's a day when people from all walks of life come together to make a difference. On March 28, 2024, we will be celebrating Wear A Hat Day, a sporting event like no other.
Wearing a hat may seem like a small gesture, but it has the power to change lives. By putting on your favorite hat and joining us on this special day, you can help us raise funds for Brain Tumour Research.
Brain tumours are a devastating disease that affects children and adults under the age of 40 more than any other cancer. They rob individuals of their dreams, their futures, and their loved ones. But together, we can make a difference.
Since its inception in 2010, Wear A Hat Day has raised over £2 million for Brain Tumour Research. This money has been instrumental in raising awareness about this deadly disease and advocating for increased investment from the government and larger charities.
But our work is far from over. We need your support to continue funding groundbreaking research at Centres of Excellence where scientists are tirelessly working towards improving treatments and finding a cure.
Join us on March 28th as we come together to wear our hats with pride. Together, we can bring hope to those affected by brain tumours and work towards a future free from this devastating disease.
Please consider making a donation towards our target amount of £250. Every contribution counts and brings us one step closer to finding a cure.
Thank you for your support!
