Story
During the summer I will be taking part in an 80km trek along the Salkantay Trail to Machu Picchu in Peru to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust, a charity providing vital support to young people and their families suffering from cancer.
In addition to the final trek I am also running the Greater Manchester Half Marathon, both of which are daunting but exciting and will no doubt be a challenge to conquer. So if you're able to donate, no matter how big or small, I'd be extremely grateful and you're donations will go directly to helping people across the UK suffering with cancer.
Any help with fundraising no matter how you can if genuinely really appreciated. I want to say a massive thank you and together let's help beat cancer!
Below is some more information about what Teenage Cancer Trust does and the support it provides.
''Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words you have cancer. They will each need specialised nursing care and support to get them through it. Were the only UK charity dedicated to meeting this vital need so no young person faces cancer alone.
Every £25 donation provides an hour to talk. A Youth Support Coordinator provides the extra help young people need with things like studies, relationships and mental wellbeing throughout cancer treatment. £25 could pay for an hour of their time, helping them be there when they're needed most.''
