Story
Graham Sidwell, our father, died in October. With his upcoming funeral, Sophie and Nick are asking that people don't send flowers, but instead make a donation to Blood Cancer UK if they would like the opportunity to mark his passing in some way.
Dad didn't have blood cancer, however his younger brother, Colin Sidwell, did. Sadly Colin passed away in 2015 at the age of 58. Dad laid his brother to rest. Although he and Colin were very different people, they were in close contact throughout their lives and Colin's passing was a moment of deep sadness for dad.
We feel that dad would have appreciated donations being raised in both his and Colin's memories.
Below is a little bit of information about Blood Cancer UK, our chosen charity. Thank you in advance if you do choose to donate.

We're a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. We do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, we've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, our community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day we will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.
