Story
Thank you all very much for visiting my JustGiving page supporting the MND Association.
Seeing first hand how cruel this disease is and what it does to people and families living with MND, I wanted to try and do my very best to help as much as I possibly can
I decided to take on The Cardiff Half Marathon back in October which was a very special day for me as my Dad, who very sadly lost his battle with MND, was there to meet me at the finishing line
My next battle is now The Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon on Sunday 12th May where I will be taking part with 2 other very special people in my life, my cousins Gemma and James Turley (Jammers)
We will be running this Marathon, shoulder to shoulder, stride by stride, purely to get over that finishing line together in memory of my dad Chris who we all loved dearly and everyone effected by this horrible disease
I want to take this opportunity to thank each and every person that has donated and supported me endlessly throughout this MND journey with my Dad
The support has been truly incredible and I believe every single person that has either donated, sent messages, shared my posts to help me get to my goal has played a huge part in this. The boost this has given me is massive because running a half marathon, let alone a full Marathon is something that is way out of my comfort zone and something I never thought I could do.Thank you all sincerely for always supporting and believing in me
My fundraising page will now stop on 20th May as 2 good friends of myself and my dad's, Andy and Chris, are organising a Charity Football Match in memory of my Dad on Sunday 5th May so there is extra time to try and raise as much as we can for the MNDA and help people who really need it fast!
Thank you all so much and please keep supporting us as it is greatly appreciated
