My name is Zara and I am 11 years old. I have extremely long hair and I have decided to have it cut to donate to The Little Princess Trust. As a family, we know first hand the effect of losing hair due to cancer treatment, so I want to give a child back their confidence both during and after treatment. My hair will be used to make a wig for a child who needs it.

I would also like to help a local children’s charity, The Priaulx Premature Baby Foundation. Many Guernsey families have benefited from this amazing charity so I would like to help with their fundraising. The Foundation provides compassionate housing right next to Southampton Hospital, giving a lifeline for families going through difficult times. The fully-equipped and private flats are Aggie’s Burrow, Isaac’s Pad and Frankie’s Den. If I can raise £60 I will be able to ‘Buy a Night’ for one of these flats.
