Story
I’m running 127 miles to support people affected by dementia.
Every three minutes, someone in the UK develops dementia.
Families affected are often left feeling exhausted and overwhelmed and don’t know where to turn…
My mum, Linda, was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's Disease six years ago. Since then, I've witnessed the impact this terrible disease can have on an individual and their family.
That’s why I want to make a difference…
Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses. Continually supported and developed by Dementia UK, they provide life-changing support for families affected by all forms of dementia – including Alzheimer’s disease.
My goal is to raise money for Dementia UK so that Admiral Nurses can continue to provide their life-changing support. Please donate today and help me to ensure that no one faces dementia alone.
