Story
The 10 Towers Challenge is a community fundraiser organised by Poplar HARCA housing association and sponsored by Aico.
Taking place on Saturday 28 September 2024, our brave participants are set to scale the steps of 10 tower blocks in Poplar and Bow, east London, on one day.*
Sound easy? They’ll be climbing up and down close to 4000 steps and 264 floors. If all 10 towers were stacked on top of each other it would be like scaling the Empire State Building!
*Participants have the option to choose their challenge and can scale 1, 5 or 10 tower blocks when they register.

Although this Just Giving page allows us to fundraise towards one charity, the 10 Towers Challenge will benefit two brilliant charities. These charities have been chosen because of their work to support health and wellbeing and tackle issues pertinent to our community.
About Asthma + Lung UK
Asthma + Lung UK’s vision is for a world where everyone has healthy lungs. From research and campaigning to advice and support, as the UK’s lung charity they’re on a mission to change the way that lung health is perceived. Because breath is life - and that’s worth fighting for.
1 in 5 of us will develop a lung condition during our lifetime. There's a new diagnosis every minute.
We are fundraising for Asthma + Lung UK. They’re the only UK charity that fights for everyone’s right to breathe. Every pound we are able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UK’s nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. We'd be very grateful for any donations you could make!
About The Aberfeldy Project
The Aberfeldy Project CIC, originally formed as the Aberfeldy FC, was borne by a group of local guys with a love for football and a desire to bring young people in the community together. Since then, the founders have ventured into a broader range of community work which aims to break down barriers and improve the wellbeing of local people of every age.
This includes an array of sport, recreation, and wellbeing provisions such as an Adults Special Educational Needs (SEN) Hub, a Girls & Woman’s only Hub, community or family fundays, holiday camps for 5–16-year-olds, day trips and youth clubs.
