The 100 Rhino Challenge - On 24-25th October this year,

Simon Lawrence and Dave Cosway will be attempting to bench press 10 tonnes/hour each, for 24 hours, the equivalent of 100 rhinos EACH.

Bonkers!

They will be undertaking this magnificent feat of endurance at Petersfield Rugby Club, with the aim of raising £10,000 for Maddy's Mark, a charity that supports the mental well-being of girls and young women. As Maddy’s Mark says “ We are a charity that helps fund access to rugby for girls and young women. We were established in 2022 in memory of Maddy Lawrence, who tragically died from sepsis following an injury. Maddy loved her rugby, and we are proud that her charity has already funded many programmes for girls’ rugby through several English Premiership clubs and other organisations. Through these partnerships, we help to promote inclusivity, fitness, positive self-esteem and the value of lasting friendships through rugby.”

This all in the year of the Women's Rugby World Cup AND at a time when the mighty Petersfield Rugby Club sees the reintroduction of Senior Women's Rugby for the first time in 20 years.
