Story

Douglas Adams suggested that the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe, and everything is 42. I think one perceptible answer to life is doing something to help support the most vulnerable members of our society. As I approach 42, I'm fundraising for Refuge by attempting to walk 100 miles during June.

Celebrate my birthday with me by making a donation and helping Refuge to continue their work to help women and their children live their lives free from violence and fear.

Your contribution will make an impact, whether you donate £5 or £52 (the cost of providing a woman and her child a night’s stay in a refuge).

Every two minutes someone turns to Refuge for support. Every little bit helps to end domestic abuse.

Thank you for your support.

Refuge opened the world’s first refuge in West London in 1971. We support thousands of women & children every day, experiencing domestic and sexual violence, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, stalking, trafficking, prostitution & so-called ‘honour’ based violence.
