Story

A team of 16 golfers

Andrew Dunn, Peter Middlemiss, Stewart Macmillan, Alan Young, Joseph Dunn, Richard Dunn, Richard Gadge Stewart, Paul Adams, James King, Alex Loudon, Chris Mann, Peter Young, Chris Antoniou, Rhu Whyte, Graeme Goldspink, Peter Diciacca

24 hours to complete 100 holes of golf. Starting at first light 3.30am and ending as the sun goes down at circa 10pm. It is the equivalent of a marathon in distance with the added challenge of playing golf while we walk this distance. 100 holes is essentially 5 rounds of golf plus 10 holes. We will be lucky enough to take on this challenge around some of the finest and testing courses in Ayrshire including Royal Troon, the Portland course, and the three Troon Publc links courses - the Darley, Lochgreen and Fullarton.

Why are we doing this?

We are raising money for Orchard OCD In memory of our great friend Olly Middlemiss who lived with this debilitating illness. Orchard OCD was formed to accelerate the development of new and better treatments for obsessive-compulsive disorder. Their vision is a world where all patients suffering with OCD receive effective treatment for their condition. We hope that this event will not only raise money for this amazing charity but also help raise awareness of OCD generally.
