We provide expert, specialist support to women & children fleeing domestic abuse

Story

One woman in four will experience domestic abuse at some point in her lifetime and on average two women are killed each week in England and Wales by a current or former partner.

Refuge is the largest single provider of specialist services to survivors of domestic, sexual and gender-based abuse and runs the freephone, 24-hour National Domestic Abuse Helpline that provides the first step to women escaping abuse.

I have recommended Refuge's services to women found in some horrific situations where escape has felt impossible and I know first hand how valuable their service was. I feel it's important to raise money for them so they can continue their awesome work.

I will be running the Brighton Half Marathon in March 2025, Brighton Marathon in early April 2025 and then the London Marathon in late April 2025.

Further to this I will be producing cybersecurity and online safety content for free, with the hope that if it's useful people can also donate a tip here for the content which you can find at https://www.youtube.com/@0n1ydan5_

I hope you can help raise a lot of funds for the charity to enable them to continue their good work.

Thanks,

Dan
