OncSoc Everest 367km Challenge, 9 November 2020
We fund facilities, equipment & care to fight Cancer in South West Wales

Story

We are holding a 1-month long challenge in support of the South West Wales Cancer Fund in Singleton! It is the second largest non-surgical cancer centre in Wales responsible for treating outpatients and inpatients including radiotherapy, chemotherapy, research and providing a hostel for patients from all over South West Wales. 100% of the money raised will go to supporting patient care and comfort, specialist equipment and training for health care staff.

There are two challenges you can get involved in:

1 - Run / Cycle as far as you can and help us reach a group target of 367,000 metres (the number of new cancer diagnoses in the UK per year)

2 - Cycle the height of Everest on your own! (8,848 metres)

We will ask you to track your progress for both challenges using the Strava app (link to join the team below) which monitors your distance travelled for challenge 1 and your elevation gained for challenge 2.

You have from the 9th of November until the 9th of December!

Remember to tag us, share your progress on social media and gain as much support as you can! GOOD LUCK!
