Proof that good things come in small packages, the olive tree rarely exceeds 8 metres in height, but packs a whole lot of punch. It provides food, oil and medicine for hundreds of years.

The olive tree is mentioned 6 times in the Quran and the Prophet Muhammad is reported to have said: "Consume the oil (of olives) and use it on your hair and skin, for it comes from a blessed tree".[Tirmidhi]
