As I’m sure many of you are have noticed, here at Ocean Stores we have been one of the lucky few business who have not had to stop trading at any point due to the pandemic. The support that we have been shown from both our local regulars as well as the people of South Ayrshire really has been amazing and we wanted to do a little something to show our thanks to the local community. 💗

After struggling to think of something to do at first we soon realised the answer was staring us right in the face...literally. 😁

As many of our regulars will know I take great pride in my curly hair and have really been enjoying being able to grow it out and let the “lockdown locks” gain a mind of their own. Judging by all the light hearted comments we get about it I’m sure you guys have noticed.

So on the 19/05/21 I am going to be shaving the “lockdown locks” right off for the great cause that is Whitney’s Retreat. We are going to be doing this on video outside the shop and will have the lovely Louise McCreadie from Louise McCreadie Hair coming along to the shop to help us out. 🤩

Whitleys truly is an amazing local place that provides free therapeutic short breaks for children, young people and their families with cancer and life altering illnesses. Every donation they receive really does count and make a big difference to a deserving child and their family. ❤️

We understand that times are tough for some so any support you guys are able to show no matter how big or small would mean the world to both us and Whiteleys Retreat🌟

I’m truly honour to be in a position to give something back and just want to say a big thank you again to everyone for you continued support. 🥰
