Story

Bath Half 2010

Since starting at university, I have done very little exercise, infact, practically none! Now, I've signed up to run the 2010 Bath Half Marathon, so I'd better get those running shoes and on, and get on with training! My chosen charity is the Nystagmus Network because I've had nystagmus since birth and I believe in what they do.

My target - to finish!

Any support would be much appreciated, whether it's a few pounds in sponsorship, some words of encouragement or a hearty pasta meal before the race! Thank you in advance!

Nystagmus and I

I have had nystagmus since birth and whilst I try to minimise it's affects, it does have an impact on my life, as it does with many other sufferers. I do two things to try and help others with the condition:

At the age of 14, I setup www.nystagmus.co.uk to provide information about nystagmus, including my personal experiences. It is now home to an ever growing community of people, with interests in nystagmus.

I am a trustee of the Nystagmus Network - a UK charity for nystagmus, with a truly global reach. The charity aims to improve the lives of people with nystagmus and to promote research into this complex eye condition. The charity relies on donations to enable it to achieve these goals.

Donating by credit/debit card through JustGiving is simple, fast and secure. They will send your donation directly to the Nystagmus Network and do any Gift Aid claims on the charity's behalf.
