We train Medical Alert & Bio Detection Dogs to save lives by detecting human disease

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Last year, staff from the North Yorkshire Diabetic Eye Screening Service organised a charity cycle ride across North Yorkshire to raise funds for Diabetes UK and York Hospitals NHS Trust.

This year we are upping our game by cycling from London to Paris over 3 days to again raise awareness of the importance of having regular retinal screening checks if you are a diabetic patient.

Our chosen charity this year is Medical Detection Dogs, which exists to provide trained dogs for people with life altering conditions, including medical alert dogs for Diabetic patients with critical, rapidly fluctuating sugar level conditions - sometimes known as "Brittle Diabetes"

As you can imagine, these dogs aren't cheap to train, so please help us support this worthy cause by making any donation you can, and we'll keep pedalling!
