About Nutley Hall
Nutley Hall is a residential care community with full, on-site day activity workshop provision for 33 adults with learning disabilities. We are a voluntary organisation with charitable status, and is registered with the CQC (Care Quality Commission). Specialised activities on offer include weaving, candle and basket making, herb processing, woodwork, bakery, gardening, woodland as well as music, art, drama and movement.
Our mission statement:
“Nutley Hall strives to be an enabling environment in which the potential of each person can find expression within a supportive social context and where recognition of the unique qualities of the individual informs the approach to development of meaningful social and practical skills.”
Our therapeutic approaches, which enable the ongoing wellbeing of those living at Nutley Hall, follow those indicated by the philosopher Rudolf Steiner whose insights have been established in therapeutic practice worldwide over many decades.
Nutley Hall is always seeking to develop and improve facilities and opportunities offered to our residents and we welcome any donations made in this respect.
