Story
Taverham Vets Longwater Lane and RSPCA Mid Norfolk and North Suffolk over the past couple of years to help control local feral cat populations.
This involves the RSPCA team catching feral cats and bringing them to the veterinary team for neutering, ear tipping, FIV/FeLV testing and microchipping before re-release.
The aim of this program is to prevent unwanted litters, reduce the spread of infectious disease between feral and owned cats and ultimately improve the welfare of the cats.
The Spay-a-thon is being subsidised as well as Vets, Nurses and support staff volunteering their time through the day and night to neuter and treat as many cats as possible as part of World Spay Day 2022.
Donations to this worthy cause is greatly appreciated and will enable the vital work of this RSPCA branch to continue for the coming year after their finances have taken a hit during the pandemic.
Thank you on behalf of Norfolk's cats.
