In the Jewish religion it is considered to be a mitzvah or blessing to give to charity which is called 'tzedakah'. I would like to acknowledge my 13th birthday and Bar Mitzvah by raising funds for Norwood-Ravenswood.

Norwood provides support for vulnerable children, families & people with learning disabilities within the Jewish and wider communities in London and the South East.  These services are delivered by 1,200 staff and supported by 500 volunteers.

Norwood needs to raise £12m every year as many of its services receive little or no government funds, so fundraising is vital for it to continue.
