Story
Thank you for visiting the Nicola Swaysland Memorial fundraising page.
Nicola was a great friend to many people but sadly on 1st April 2005 she passed away at the tender age of 26.
Nicola suffered from Crohn's Disease and she was an avid supporter of the National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Charity. In her memory her friends would like to try and raise £1000 for this extremely worthwhile cause.
EVENTS
2.4.06 One year and one day following her death, Nicola's old hockey clubs (Mid Sussex and Horsham) got together to play the Nicola Swaysland Memorial Game. A thrilling match ensued with many of her family and friends coming along to support the game which Horsham narrowly won. This hockey match will now be an annual game between the two clubs
18.6.06 Nicola's friends from school and college successfully completed the London to Brighton Bike Ride in memory of Nicola. Nicole, Adam, Nikki J, Nikki S, Diana, and Claire T cycled 54 miles to raise money for Nicola's charity of choice. They would like to thank everyone that sponsored them.
09.07.06 Sally and Carrie, two of Nicola's hockey friends, took part in the Colitis and Crohn's charity walk in Hyde Park. Nicola introduced them to the walk three years ago and now they do the walk each year in her memory.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate money to: The National Association for Colitis and Crohn's Disease - NACC.
