Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Field of Grace came into existence following the death of Cheryl Wallis and Lorraine Field, both of whom suffered with eating disorders. Just prior to her death, Lorraine and Nicola were in the process of setting up support groups for those with eating disorders in South Surrey as they identified the need, noticing the little help that was available in the area. After Lorraine passed, Nicola decided that more needed to be done and more people needed to be reached, so set about researching charities. All trustees, employees and volunteers involved in Field of Grace are dedicated to helping those with eating disorders.
Whether you have been diagnosed with an eating disorder or not we are here to help you.
What we can offer you:
· Text, telephone and email support – having regular frequent check-ins with one of our experienced volunteers or staff members;
· Befriending – spending quality time with one of our volunteers or staff members to have the opportunity to talk openly about the problems you are facing;
· Online and face-to-face support groups – to meet fellow sufferers, exchange recovery ideas and share thoughts and emotions in a non-judgemental, friendly and understanding environment;
· Our own workshops aimed at helping you recover and find peace from your eating disorder.
