Story
Good and Evil. Darkness and Light. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. There is Ying, and there is also Yang.
Running 26 miles is evil. It is dark. Offensive to the body, crushing of the soul. Action for Children is good http://www.actionforchildren.org.uk/. It provides light where previously there was darkness. It gives hope and help to the UK’s most vulnerable children.
By embracing the darkness of the London Marathon, I hope to provide light by supporting Action for Children. But I need your help.
I need to you delve into your pockets, or reach a giving hand down the back of the sofa and redirect some beer money, the price of a Donny Osmond CD, or your subscription to Bella magazine towards Action for Children via this handy, easy to use, totally secure website.
In return, I will drag bloodied nipples, sore knees and rasping lungs around London in April and Action for Children will continue to break through injustice, deprivation and inequality, so that vulnerable children can achieve their full potential. You know it makes sense…
